We are combining all 25 company teams, over 1,000 Five Star students, their parents and all our volunteers into ONE BIG TEAM for ONE BIG CONTEST. That contest is the America's Giving Challenge.

What is America's Giving Challenge?
It’s a national contest between more than 6,000 non-profits to recruit the most donors. The non-profit that gets the most votes (meaning a donor giving $10 online) by Nov. 6th at 3pm wins a $50,000 grand prize. This is not a contest to see who raises the most money.....IT'S ABOUT GETTING THE MOST PEOPLE to donate $10.
The timing of your donation is critical in order for it to count. The Challenge runs from 3pm to 3pm. So, DO NOT donate at 4pm today and then at 9am tomorrow morning…. THAT ONLY COUNTS AS 1 VOTE. Make sure that your donations count. We are voting every day in the morning to make sure that every donation counts.
The leader so far has over 1,500 donations. Our goal is 15,000 or highest votes in Contest whichever is HIGHEST.
The platform that this contest uses is FaceBook and Causes.com. You do not need to be on them to participate.

Go to www.fivestarchange.org. Click on "America's Giving Challenge" and follow the prompts. All your donations will go to Five Star / Manowe, a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

SIX THINGS YOU CAN DO
1. DONATE $10 A DAY for as many days possible between now and Nov. 6th at 3pm.
2. GO VIRAL. Facebook, email, blog, tweet to all your friends asking them to do the same. Add our Cause “Five Star / Change Our World” to your page. Ask for a $10 vote.
3. JOIN A CALLING PARTY. Recruit a few passionate people to join you at a calling party. Calling parties are the best way to get people to actually donate. Facebook and Emails are not always direct enough.

4. FINAL CALL TO ACTION. Block out Nov. 5th and 6th from your calendar and be ready to dedicate these two days to this effort.
5. PASS OUT FLIERS to local businesses, friends and family asking them to donate and find a couple friends to do the same. Go to Team Tools and download the flier to print.
6. HOPE, PRAY AND DANCE LIKE CRAZY for people to make their donations for Five Star by November 6th.
